I was wondering if you have ever used milk or a milk powder in your recipes. Does it make the soap a bit creamier? Or what have you found?

  1. Using various kinds of milk in soap has a long, successful tradition. One of the best versions uses goat's milk. Recipes and info at the site below.

Personally, I think every soapmaker ought to know about the Miller Soap page, so here's a link in case you aren't already familiar with it.

  2. I've made soap, but I haven't used those. Maybe you could try a small batch with it and see how it turns out. Good luck!

  3. watch fight club the movie

  4. I've made one batch of goats milk soap before and it was lovely and creamy. I used fresh goats milk which went a scary bright orange and curdled, but it all mixed in fine and left me with a lovely white bar of soap once cured. Apparently if you freeze the goats milk so it's slushy before adding the lye it doesn't curdle like that.

for David Fisher's thorough article on using milk in soaps.

    Good luck
