    ours was

as was said before...its the gup's that matter...not the color of the belt.

  11. There are at least 3 or 4 different right answers to this question that I know of. Depending on which organization, federation etc that your particular school belongs to.

I think of all the martial arts to have suffered and been watered down here in the west TKD has taken the worst of it. TKD as still practiced in Korea, no doubt in my mind it would work, can't say that about the watered down version most places teach here in the states. I had my black belt in TKD as taught here and my brother went to Korea in the army and married a Korean girl, her brothers and father taught him their TKD and when he showed me some of it, I was blown away.

  12. The color scheme itself varies from school to school, but the gup system is the correct answer.

9th gup is the lowest belt, counting up to 1st gup.

    James

  13. It depends what association of taekwondo you are with. For ATA ,american taekwondo association, it goes: white, orange, yellow, camo, green, purple, blue, brown, red, redblack, black.
