Is anyone taking generic Wellbutrin (150) XL and had headaches?

I was taking Wellburtin XL but switched to generic to save money. I had a few headaches on the regular brand but I just switched to generic about three weeks ago and I get these terrible headaches right above my eyebrows that last a couple of hours and won't go away with pain medications. I used to get nauseated in the morning about an hour after taking the meds. then in the afternoon the headache would come. Now, I've been getting the headache at all times of the day. Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do?

I was on Wellbutrin XL for a year & a half, and it was great.  Then a couple months ago I was switched to the generic, and I've been miserable ever since.  I feel exactly the way I did before I started taking it.  (And yes, I have noticed headaches too!)

I got online, and evidently this is quite common with the generic drug.  LOTS of people are having problems with it, the most common being that it just does not work!  And there have been several cases where people switch back to the name brand Wellbutrin and are back to normal within a few days.

Do a search for anything like "generic" "wellbutrin" and "doesn't work", and you'll be stunned by all the complaints about this!  (Also check out the link below, and read all the comments towards the bottom of the page!)

I so feel your pain! I have been on generic Wellbutrin (150) XL and I am experiencing headaches as well. I have been on the medication for 6 months and I feel horrible. Not only headaches, but more frequently I am feeling "spacey." I am constantly tired, and rarely go out. My friends are encouraging me to get off this medication. I return to the doctor tomorrow and want a new medication or to be off completely. I was on Lexapro before and all was well except for a low s*x drive.
