Is anyone traveling via Amtrak anytime soon? What are you bringing for on-rail supplies?

I'm taking a trip and don't want to forget anything, nor would I want to miss any good travel goodies others are bringing.

It sounds like you're off on a lengthy trip.  And with Amtrak that means delays.

Make sure you have an iPod with that G n R song Patience.  Bring plenty of reading material.  The cars have electrical outlets so you can bring a laptop and it won't die.

Other than that, I don't know.  When I ride it, it only takes me three hours.  Maybe a pillow?

bring a full duffel bag full of food. cause the food is SPENDY!!!

Wear pants, cause it's usually pretty cool on board, also bring a long sleeved buttin up shirt or sweatshirt.
