Is anyone watching Dateline?

It is breaking my heart!

People who have disabled babies are urged to give there baby to an institute so they can lay in a crib and never be let out! There was a 21 year old guy, in a crib, that was the size of an 11-12 year old because he was so deprived of human interaction. It is just so sad! There was one lady who had a baby with Cerebral Palsy that kept her baby, but when she did her family shunned her and the dad left. It is just all wrong! This is over in Serbia, but these institutes are all over.

Is anyone else watching Dateline? What do you think about it?

Oh my goodness. I didn't see that but I can't even believe it! That's just terrible.  I know some of the most wonderful people that are disabled and I can't imagine them being put in a place like that.  Sad things in this world...

I'm not watching but people in the US did the same thing in the 50's.

Yes, it was heartbreaking.  I gave my baby extra hugs.  I wish I could give those poor souls some loving attention.

I cried though most of it. Its horrible I only wish there was someway to change all that.

I'm not watching it, but that's horrible. I don't think I'd be able to watch that, it's too sad..
