USA was slatted to win either way (the Chinese live in California). But seriously this should not be an Olympic sport there is no quality competition out there to warrant it. Most countries put Beach Volleyball way on the back burner (way behind indoor volleyball which has the top tier players) and field amateurs against the professional team of May-Walsh. It is like what would happen if American football was introduced in the 2012 games!

Totally anti climactic and obvious as if it was planned that way, and by virtue of the stunning lack of quality competition out there it really was.

Yes and slippery d**n how can they do that in the rain. Going to be a great matchup hopefully. I can feel the energy and I am not even there.

Absolutely! So far it has been "fast and furious".  This is going to be one serious game and twice as exciting because the weather issues.
