Is anyones college experience like mines? ?

Im a freshman in college and im living on campus. Everyone has told me that im going to meet tons of people and make new friends. So none of that has happen. I talk to people and try to make a connection but nothing ever comes of it. Maybe im meant to be a loner.

j/k maybe you aren't ready to come all the way out of your shell.  you have to be out and about, an extrovert, if you want the things you describe.  don't spend so much time in the inner world.  function in the outer world, it's much more fun and dangerous!  :P

Wow, when I went to college I went through the same thing. I heard someone say the friends you make in college are most likely the friends you'll have for life. I haven't made any college friends but I did talk to people and participated in study groups but that was it. I don't think you're meant to be a loner. My problem was that I was always one to keep to oneself. If I had opened up more I would have had more friends. Try to open up more and talk to people even more. When you have a group of friends who are doing really well in school and are supportive you will do better yourself.

For me, friends didn't really matter that much so that was another reason. I really do wish I had made more friends.
