Is anything bad going to happend to me because I use the ouija board with my friends?

I use it alot but people say it is very dangerous and others just say its a game. I got it at toys r us, so what harm is there????

For years my (now dead) grandmother wouldn't let me even see hers.  She said she used it to ask what s*x her future grandkids would be.  She was 50/50.  Years later I finally got to play with it, it did nothing.  Some programs on tv, and spiritual people say that it is a portal opener for (demons only) and you can be possessed.  I'm not possessed.  More time might tell if it's true or not.  I'd say nothing will happen.

depends if there are spirits around i used one in my house which i have a ghost living here and nothing rlly bad happened but my door slammed shut  and opened a few times and wen it opened the room would go very cold :) x

It's a tool of the devil to get a hold on you. It seems so innocent, fun, but do you think satan will make things obvious? It says in the Bible that consulting the dead is VERY wrong. Don't know the verse, but stay away.

There are some people that would claim the above games were dangerous on the premise "If it's not in the bible it's dangerous!" or because it's something that takes attentions away from the bible.

Nothing bad will happen to you.  The ouija board is just a game, something you can buy in a kid's toy store such as Toys R Us.  It has no supernatural powers.  It plays on your mind and imagination and susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  The people using them make them work.  That doesn't mean that they can't be scary, because they can be, because your imagination can be powerful and can make you believe all kinds of things.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards.

Those things are fake; you're not really talking to dead people. And the thing definitely can't bad things happen to you, all it is is cardboard. And exactly, you got it at Toys R Us. i used it once and we got answers that defintily freaked us out. it could have just been out subconsious playing games but it was really weird. nothing ever happened to me and we threw it out the window and my friends older sister came and yelled at us and siad we were gonna get some bad omens and such. but remember something could always, happen, this world is crazy!
