Is applying eyeliner to the water line bad for your eyes?

I like the way it looks, but I'm not sure if it's bad for your eyes or not. Can anyone tell me if it is. And also if you have tips for applying eyeliner so it looks really close to the eye would help too. Thanks!

I have heard that it is... Probably because it could possibly clog your tearducts...

It's only bad for your eyes if you use an eyeliner that stings, or if the eyeliner is old and has bacteria growing in it.

My tip for applying eyeliner so it looks really close to the eye is to use a black eyeshadow and apply it with a brush.

I heard that it is, but I also heard that it isnt. I usually do put it on the waterline.

no i dont think so.

ive been doing it forever

it will wear off after a while so it doesnt really 'do'anything bad to your eyes
