  4. You have got a lot of very negative answer. Apricots and Peaches are not the same fruit but Apricots and Peaches have been known to grow on the same tree together one is just a mutation of the other. It might be Apricots and Nectarines. I forget but if you want to read more about it the book "Why does Popcorn Pop?" might interest you. Peaches are fuzzy and Apricots aren't. Peaches also have a much milder flavor than apricots.
