Is arganine ok to take with creatine while lifting?

  1. Hey Curly,

    You can take L-Arginine and creatine an hour before your workout. Remember that L-Arginine has a very short life in your system unless it's a specific time-released Nox booster. You should take an additional dose of both post workout with low-fat chocolate milk within 30 minutes of finishing your workout. Low-fat chocolate milk has a 4 - 1 carbs to protein ratio which is perfect for recovery. 8 to 16 ounces should be adequate depending on length of workout and how long before you eat.     Don't load phase the creatine, it's a waste of money, causes water retention and stomach upset with no better results. Keep to 5 - 6 grams a day.  L=Arginine should be safe in doses of 3 - 12 grams a day.
