It includes rental of the place for 6 hours and also the rehearsal, the cake, catering for 200, dj, photographer, bartender, decorations (like linens and chair covers with sashes), and flowers (but only for the bride and 3 bridesmaids, 4 boutounniers for the men and 2 coursages for the mothers.)

I don't know if we should get this package that would be convenient or do everything on our own and possibly save money??? What should a nice wedding for about 200 guests run?

  1. OMG that's an amazing price!  I think you scored :)  My total wedding (at a winery) cost 37k for 120 people.  This is including ALL wedding expenses (dress, food, alcohol, flowers, etc) AND my marriage didn't last.  I think the most important thing is that you are getting the most for your money and that you are celebrating your love :)

  2. That is an amazing deal for catering for 200 people!  We;re looking at 100-120 and it's going to cost us around 13,000 without a DJ, flowers and photographer!

  3. In my area, I'm spending $18k on a wedding for 175 people so I'd think half of that is a steal!

  4. That's definately a great deal for 200.

Long story short.. We had plans to have 60 people at our wedding at a private garden which was going to cost us about the same. Last minute, we cancelled the wedding due to "problems with family" and got married in a very small ceremony. Happily married 10 years later.

  5. Yes thats a great deal. That exactly what my wedding is costing for 200 guests. And I'm having a pretty nice wedding. We just are doing EVERYTHING on our own. Thats why its so cheap. So just remember there will ALWAYS be other costs. Like for parties, invitations, thank yous, extra decorations, alcohal, dresses, tuxes, and attendents gifts. So if the package is 9,000 expect to spend about 12-13,000. Good luck and have fun!! Oh and try to use Ebay for any small things you might need. That website totally helped me out!!! :)

  6. Wow!! That's a pretty good price for 200 guests. Our whole wedding is going to be about $7000 for about 75-100 guests. So congrats.

  8. mabe and a few extra thousand to make the wedding pop lol

  9. greta deal tell me where this place is located. Test the food first though.

  10. Depends on what exactly you want and where you live.

I spent 10k on a wedding for around 400 guests, in the midwest.

So you'd be spending 9k, but that's not counting dresses for bridesmaids, you, tuxes, veil, tiara, extra flowers if you want them, or anything extra you want. So you'll probably end up spending aroune 15k or so when it's all said and done.

Call around and see how much vendors charge and how much it would cost to do it yourself vs. how much they are charging you. Plus do you want to have the fun of being more involved in the planning, or would you rather avoid the headache? Consider these options!
