Is artifical beef flavering haram?

i jus wanted to know ifartifical flavering in stuff like noodles is haram

  1. if you mean haram in the sense that it contains ingredients that would go against religious pratices, then the answer is no.

    Otherwise yeah, they are pretty notorious for high sodium and colourings, so either read the list of ingredients well before buying or make your own.


  2. If you mean harmful they are high in sodium.

  3. Not a Muslim, but for me, artificial flavourings are always haram. They might also be harmful. Go for the real thing!

  4. I know that they have "non-haram" noodle soups, so that makes it seem as though at least some of them must be haram.  

    And for those of you who don't know, haram food means you aren't allowed to eat it under Islamic rules.  Similar to the concept of Kosher.

  5. If it's made with real beef extract, odds are the ox wasn't done as per the hallal treatment, or the extract was made from forbidden parts.

    If it's just chemical, it's admissible.
