  1. whenever people attack people verbally or physically it always comes back to you. so it will back fire on them. i don't get why they are attacking each other anyway. who cares how someone lives their life's. i think that it doesn't matter what goes on behind closed doors and people shouldn't judge her because her daughters pregnant or what she does when shes not in office. this is the reason a lot of celebrities and people in the public eye act out sometimes. because they are never left alone and there's always a camera in their face.

  2. At work, the subject of Palin is more like a bunch of Jay Leno jokes than actual attacks.  Lots of laughs because of so much material.  See, that's what happens when you pick a virtual unknown.  People go to find info on her and a lot of it raises eyebrows.  And chuckles!

  3. McCain is desperate thats why he picked Palin.

"1. He’s desperate. Let’s stop pretending this race is as close as national polling suggests. The truth is McCain is essentially tied or trailing in every swing state that matters — and too close for comfort in several states, such as Indiana and Montana, that the GOP usually wins pretty easily in presidential races. On top of that, voters seem very inclined to elect Democrats in general this election — and very sick of the Bush years.

McCain could easily lose in an electoral landslide. That is the private view of Democrats and Republicans alike.

McCain’s pick shows he is not pretending. Politicians, even “mavericks” like McCain, play it safe when they think they are winning — or see an easy path to winning. They roll the dice only when they know that the risks of conventionality are greater than the risks of boldness.

The Republican brand is a mess. McCain is reasonably concluding that it won’t work to replicate George W. Bush and Karl Rove’s electoral formula, based around national security and a big advantage among Y chromosomes, from 2004.

“She’s a fresh new face in a party that’s dying for one — the antidote to boring white men,” a campaign official said.

Palin, the logic goes, will prompt voters to give McCain a second look — especially women who have watched Democrats reject Hillary Rodham Clinton for Barack Obama.

The risks of a backlash from choosing someone so unknown and so untested are obvious. In one swift stroke, McCain demolished what had been one of his main arguments against Obama.

“I think we’re going to have to examine our tag line, ‘dangerously inexperienced,’” a top McCain official said wryly."

  4. It's great strategy for the republicans.

  5. It's a horrible idea.  It's the liberals fault that Palin's children believe the way they do...

Palin's family can't make her kids reverse their thinking from the schools and friends that they are around.  If you're a parent, either you already know this, or you'll find out for yourself.

McCain can only try to stop this from going any further.  It's up to the parents to homeschool.

  6. Friday according to ramussen palin was at 57 approval rating. Monday night she was at 52. By next week she will be at 40. Seems like a good strategy to me.

  7. It will backfire.  The American people will see that she is a great candidate and person and will see that the Dems are the ones that are acting badly here.

  8. I hope they keep doing it because instead of being a 2 or 3 point victory for McCain it could go as much as 10

  9. well the Dems know how to beat themselves, they cant help it.

8 years of Clinton = to the taliban gaining strength under his watch, for 8 years he molested interns, then Gore botch his campaign, then Kerry was Kerry, and they pick a guy name Hussein for there canindate, while it was clear that Hillary was the right choice, then a bunch of Dem/ self proclaim anarchist disrupted the convention. its all Karma

  10. Yes, it's an effective strategy.  In sports, war, politics,---anything---you always attack the enemy at it's weakest point.  That's clearly Palin.

  11. Attacking Obama and his family seems to have done well for the RePubes, hasn't it?

  12. Sad, sad, sad....Repukelicans...For months, I have seen unfair and nasty attacks on Barack Obama and he has endured those "unfair and nasty" attacks with dignity...And yet, when Sarah Palin and her personal life is under the microscope...others are supposed to not throw dirt at her...you can't be that naive....Sarah Palin is a hypocrite, corrupt, and attempts to stretch the truth about her qualifications....McCain undermined his own bid for the Presidency when he picked this loser as his running mate...What will backfire is that people are still going to call attention to Sarah Palin....from now until the election...Remember what happened to Geraldine Ferraro years ago....Everybody wanted a woman on the ticket...and after the fan-fare, she was scrutinized heavily because of her husband's financial problems...That cost her the DEMS first woman VP....History repeats itself, here again.

  13. If mcblunder had not plucked her out of obscurity she would not have been put under the magnifying glass of the national media.  It may appear to be an attack but the simple fact is that she had not been properly vetted and now the media is doing what should have been done in the first place. Politics on the national level is a very tough process and they play for keeps here , if you cannot stand the scrutiny don't get in the game.  As for under mining, he brought this all on himself and palin by trying to short cut the vetting process.  Just puts the question

of his judgement under that same magnifying glass.

  14. If there is one democrate out there that has lead a perfect life, let him throw  the first stone.

  15. It isn't a good strategy, but so far, they don't have to.  The media will do all the work for them.

  16. Obama Has already stated that NO the media should NOT attack her because of her family situation! Pay attenchion people!!!! the Democrates havn't attacked her yet, it's the Media!!!!! Dumb asses!

  17. Noway Democrats have to built their argument on Palin's lack of experience and qualifications which she has very little

  18. This is politics and if Plain can't stand the heat she better get out of the kitchen . And beside it's not the Dem's who are attacking this mayor from Alaska it's her on party member from Alaska and around the country who are giving these stories to the media. So you repub's need to stop all your dam whining Lol

    OBAMA/BIDEN

  19. We have said time and time again that her family should be left alone.  Funny enough, Sarah Palin must feel differently-- as she plans to parade her soon to be son-in-law around at the convention like he's some sort of media attraction.

  20. it will blow back up in liberals faces like an aborted fetus

  21. Political strategy is designed to gain power. McCain/Palin put our country first and party second. The country will unite under the McCain/Palin banner and take back our country from the angry left who have their interest ahead of country.

Enough of divisive politics...Put our country first

  22. Backfiring already.

It shows how scared they are.

    .

  23. The Repubs spent six months attacking Barack's wife.  How is this different?

  24. they are ticking off people, mostly independents.
