Is august a good month to go to cancun?

want to go when its super hot is it still hot in august?? what hotel do you recommend thats not to expensive. family friendly but whatever is good (all inclusive)

It's a great time to go if you like taking vacations in an oven!  :)

I'd visit anytime between October to March.

i went in august before and it was too darn hot for me, but its a great place. make sure to hit coco bongo and senor frogs.

I went in September and it was still about 90 degrees for highs.  The good thing is it probably won't rain, Cancun was a great time, there will be lots to do for family or going out.
