  1. I think Australia is generally a very peaceful place to live.

    I like:

    - the weather

    - friendly people

    - variety in environment, weather, cities etc... it's different everywhere you go!

    I don't like:

-that the people can sometimes be a bit racist

-it's a bit isolated from the rest of the world, travel-wise

    -..... that's about it!

  2. australians take life really easy, very meditterenean in a way too. Its a beautiful place with its own problems like every other country but things seem to work extremely well.

I personally hate how much they drink and how stupid they get when they get drunk. Especially girls.

But hey, i love it. been living here for 4 eyars and its my home now.

  3. Hi, it's a bit hard to answer this question without knowing exactly what you're looking for, but to give you a few pros and cons:

    First, The Pros

    1. Clean. The environment is in excellent condition with very little pollution. Australia is still a very clean and pristine place by world standards.

    2. Safe. Australia is extremely safe with very low crime rates. it's the kind of place where a murder is news, despite a population of 20 million. Firearms (and indeed all weapons) are generally prohibited.

    3. Free. Australia is reasonably democratic, ranked 8th most democratic country in the World by The Economist (by way of contrast, the USA ranked 17th). You are generally free to express opinions, come and go freely, start a business and so on. There are protections against discrimination based on political views, sexual orientation, race, gender or religion. We have a universal health care system as well as other welfare services and heavily subsidised education. Corruption exists, but is generally out of sight.

    The Cons

    1. Uncultured. Australia is a backwater and a long way from Europe. What passes for culture in much of Australia is actually an obsession with sport and heavy drinking. Australia is still in the process of forming a distinct cultural identity, and unfortunately has come under the sway of the worst aspects of Americanism. There is definitely a strong "yob" element here, and Australia is conservative and boorish by European standards.

    2. Workaholism. Despite the popular myth of being a "laid back" culture, Australia is actually quite the opposite. Workaholism is common, with long hours often expected in the professions. Stress related disorders, depression and suicide are recognised as being major health problems in Australia. Deregulation and privatisation has resulted in increased stress and diminishing job security and benefits for employees, and union protection has been declining as well. A recent change in government may improve workplace conditions and the economic situation for the structurally impoverished, but that has yet to be seen.

    3. Can't think of a third. On the whole, Australia is a great place to live if you can overlook some of the obvious problems.

  4. i live here & wouldent live in any other place

    likes--everything

dislikes--people whe live over the back fence

  5. well it really depends on were!

    I like:

i like the sky at night

I like traveling on the highways

    I like sea

    I dont like summer

I dont like Adelaide coz it stuffs my nose and i cant spell

And i dont like th fact my love isn't here! :)

    Lol hope i helped!
