If you go to a big college and get a degree in automotive engineering does that give you more knowledge and experience than a grad from UTI or Wyo Tech? Does it give you more hands-on activities if you go to a big college also?

  1. more money in engineering, but they only design they don't know repair.

  2. An automotive engineer is different from an automotive technician. If you go to a trade school such as uti or wyotech your going to be working on cars. College auto engineering is more like actually designing engines and automotive parts for a manufacturer. I graduated from UTI and NATT. Good school with lots of opportunities. But there is more money in engineering. Plus thats more of a office job. If I were you. go to college.
