Is av2009 a computer virus?

Av2009 keeps popping up and now my computer is really slow and whenever I've been on the computer for a while it'll freeze up and then turn big and eventually a blue screen will come up and say 'physical dump of memory beginning'.Av2009 is the only thing i can think of because it hasn't always been on there.If it is a virus,how can I get it off?Or if it's not,what else could it be?

Yes it is. If you get a virus or spyware, it will start spamming you with antivirus programs like win anti virus, anti virus, win defender and such. Just because they have Win in front of them, don't click on them if they start appearing on your computer. You can download these that are real but when you get spammed from it, its from spyware, malware, virus, etc.
