  1. It's still a cheaper, faster, and safer way to move passengers and cargo than over roads. The fuel crisis will breed a new generation of fuel efficient aircraft. Have no fear, the airline industry will survive.

  2. Aviation will never go away. The demand and lifestyle we have adapted from the convenience of it will always be in demand.

  3. Yes, it is a dieing Form, it may even be dying, but it doesn't appear that way to me.

  4. no, as long as people and cargo need to move long distances quickly there will be planes to move them.

  5. Is there ANY evidence that it's dying? Please!

Are people going to suddenly want to stop traveling? I just returned from Europe and EVERY seat was full.

Um no, it's not dieing (or dying.) It will grow and change as long as people wish to travel, which isn't going to change any time soon.

  6. Yes, it will eventually become stronger. It's just not at it's climax right now because of fuel prices. Also if you've noticed fuel prices have gone down quite a bit. I live in San Diego and about a month ago gas was about $4.20, now it's like $3.70, which in my opinion is pretty good. AvGas and Jet Fuel are still over $5 though.

  7. No, aviation is not dying, but it appears that literacy, spelling and grammar as they pertain to the English language are all dying.
