  1. Not quite sure that I understand the question.  Do you mean personally avoiding being racist?  Or avoiding other racist people and situations?  Not sure if that can be considered "coping" with discrimination...  What exactly are you asking?

    Edit:  Well, generally speaking, it's difficult to know in advance if you're going to be discriminated against.  I mean obviously any ethnic minority walking into a KKK meeting is bad news, but really... You never know.  So...  I guess you can *try* to avoid situations like that, but you just never know when some racist jackass is gonna open his mouth.  I guess when that happens, though, the best thing to do is just turn the other cheek.  Racism is ignorant, and by responding with violence or yelling at them, you're lowering yourself to their level and giving them what they want.

  3. Avoiding is a small way.  A big way to cope with discrimination is prove the errors how you're being discriminated against.  For instance, your called a lazy good-for-nothing loser cause of your race.  Then get a job and succeed at it.
