Is b.arch prefer ed than b.tech?

This has nothing to do with special education but being I know the answer I will give it.

In the United Stated to become a licensed architect you are required to have a minim of a 5 year degree, complete and internship (min. 3 years) while working under a licensed architect and pas the architectural exam.

Most architectural schools offer a 4/2 program. You graduate in 4 years with a bachelors of architectural technology then you are required to get a masters of architecture (another 2 years). There are a few schools that offer a 5 year degree with a bachelor of architecture. At that point you do not need to get a masters to become a licensed architect.
