Is baking soda a good substitute for PH up in a pool?

I have heard you can use it to raise the ph in the pool..will it harm my pool--pool is an 18 ` vinyl ...thank you

well personaly i think you shouldent because you never kno what might happen just get a filter or something

Yeah Right Call the pool room they will tell you .Try 15 peices of cone chalk and 14 yards of felt we will get rid of it somewhere
