i mean i support barack obama 110% because we gotta get the Republican power out of the white house but from what people have said and what ive read and seen is that he refuses to salute the american flag always i mean i know how alot of black folk are muslim for some reason and i do not know why all the ones i know are caothlic/christian or a witness anyways is he or is he not a muslim and why doesn't he salute the american flag?

No, he's not. And he is accused of not covering his heart with his hand during the national anthem, not "not saluting the flag." However, the proper protocol for the national anthem is to stand respectfully as Obama does, the people who cover their hearts with their hands are the ones faking patriotism (or ignorant of how to show proper respect for the national anthem.)

Why can't you see that Americans are accusing many as being apart of Islam not just Obama. They are accusing many Americans as Muslims just like they were accusing Americans of being Communist. It's not rather people are calling him Muslim just because it is a repeating cause that happened in the 50s with the Communism scarce. Americans are fighting a Nation of Islam so everyone will be accused as Muslim in the 50s Americans was fighting Russia everyone was being accused on communism.

Also, why does it matter whether or not the flag is saluted?  It's just a symbol...and what's more...why does it matter if he IS Muslim?  Don't be ignorant.

He does not refuse to salute the American flag.  The issue was that he was seen not putting his hand over his heart during the playing of the national anthem.  Now, I have heard the national anthem and did not put my hand over my heart, but I didn't think it was mandatory, especially since no one was singing - it was a band concert.  We really shouldn't make a big deal about this one thing.  Obama is very patriotic and FYI, he is not a Muslim.  He spent 20 years attending a Christian church before he made his exit because of the pastor getting all goofy about being in the public eye.  Again, watch for yourself - he does salute the American flag when it calls for that gesture.

About him saluting the flag, HE SALUTES THE FLAG. The thing is, he doesn't wear the US ribbon. If you look into it, only firefighters, armed forces, ect. are supposed to wear those. Technically, unless Barack served in the military (Which I don't think he did) he should NOT wear the ribbon until he is President. (Commander in Chief)

Barack loves this country, as does McCain. Both of them are very patriotic.

im not sure why he doesnt, but the church/temple  he goes to teaches them to be against white people. i know because oprah went there and told people about it. i really dont like that, partly because i am white.  i cant respect him at all because of everything he does(and doesnt do). i have nothing against democrats, but i am a  proud republican (and McCain supporter), and stay open minded about different ideas, but he is one person i cant tolerate.

hes father (who abadoned his mother when he was very young) was muslem and she is athiest he has studied at cathoic(sp) schools and muslem schools when he was younger but i dont know his current faith.
