Is bartending a good job on the side?

i thought it would be fun so im paying for the class and all

but now im doubting it because s'posed ppl don't tip me as much as i expected or a friend told me she wouldn't do bartending because it's really hard because u hav to memorize all of the drinks ....

also what is ur standard salary like as a bartender? ..minus tips

Minimum wage. Your income comes from tips. If you get in a busy restuarant it can be good money. a couple hundred on weekend nights. You will start to memorize the drinks as you make them, it's not that difficult.
