That may sound like a dumb question, but maybe someone out there knows...I'm going there this summer, and my significant other-type person is a huge baseball fan and I couldn't think of something better to bring him back than something Italian and baseball oriented...anyone have any idea?

  1. I don't think so. I know they have a Baseball league but it's no really professional neither popular as soccer.

I would say about 15% of Italians watch Baseball

  2. not really there are soccer fans over there but not as much of a basket ball fan.

  3. no, it isn't...the main sport in italy is soccer

  4. Rudy' right;he's even overestimating total amount of people interested in baseball... I think soccer is more popular in the US than baseball in Italy.

Anyway, we do have a league and national team is always been between top 10 in the world.

  5. Turn your boyfriend onto SOCCER (better known as FOOTBALL-the non-Amercian version)-that would be the greatest gift!

  6. Some places such as Vicenza have teams. due to there having been nearby US bases until the 80s
