  1. basically yes....app art from the bat and a board for the wicket...originates from sussex

  2. What the h**l is rounders?

  3. No. Baseball is believed to be derived from Rounders but they are not the same game.

  4. yes they are both games for girls

  5. No, Rounders is a poker movie!!

  6. no, in baseball the bats are longer and you hold them with two hands. There are three bases as opposed to four and you are safe if you foot is on one of them, where as in rounders, you have to touch the base with your bat. This means you have to carry your bat instead of dropping it

  7. Nope- (<<<WARNING:BY THE WAY- IN THIS I COULD BE TOTALLY INCORRECT BUT OH WELL IF I AM INCORRECT IGNORE ME AND CORRECT ME>>>>)

    Differences:

In rounders you can only hold the bat with one hand, the bats are smaller, no protection to anyone, no mound in the middle, the bowler bowls the ball under arm so its above the knee but below head height (me thinks), Rounders isn't as hard as girls tend to play it in school (or in my school they did... we moved onto netball again though) and there are other differences.

In baseball you can hold the bat with two hands the bats are longer, the players have protection from the ball (its hard and can get some serious speed when thrown or hit) mound in the middle for the pitcher, the pitcher has to pitch in between a certain height and a certain length and boys tend to play baseball- however it hasnt been unknown that girls have played it lots of times before <the same for the above>

To answer your question NO! Baseball is not the same as Rounders.
