Question:

Is becoming an Avon Representative worth the time?

I'm a full time student and I'm looking for a way to make some extra money. I was thinking of selling avon but is it a worthwhile investment ($10.00 to start)? How do representatives generally get paid? Also, I noticed that some representatives have websites that they sell from. I would rather do that than solely rely on selling in person.

  1. I would think about the effort you want to put in.  I personally don't have the time to drop off books, pick up orders, place orders, bill out, deliver the product etc.

If you don't want to do any of that, then I would suggest going with a company that you don't have to stock, inventory, deliver, bill, collect and pray that a check clears!

I joined a health and wellness company (no juices for me), I feel is completely recession proof.  I don't do any of the above.  I find people, like you, interested in starting a home based or people concerned about the environment or the lifestyle of their family.  Switching stores has never been easier!

I would love to share more information with you!

  2. Personally for me it has been worth while. I am able to make $250 every 2 weeks in addition to my full time income.

Not sure if you are aware but now you can sign up to become a representative online plus it is only $10 to get started and with all the support that is available out there you should be able to make a great income.

If you do happen to be interested and are ready to get started just go to my website and hit the Become a Representative link so that I could email you online application website.

Hope that helped answer your question!

  3. You get to meet a lot of old ladies.

  4. I did it and got screwed. They tell you that you get 50% off all your profits, but you dont. So with what I spent on supplies for my business and paper products, internet, etc.... I was in the hole $250. I'm sure that in a couple years of constant persuement you can turn a profit, but it was huge waste of my time and money.
