I am a tutor and personally, I love it! It depends on the person. I get a great satisfaction from helping others. The nice thing about being a tutor is that you're your own boss, as well as the boss/role model of the student (in a way)! Also, you get to set your own hourly rate. Depending on your education/experience, you could make a day's worth of regular office wages for just a couple hours of tutoring!

If you loved teaching,  it is fun but if you are only there because you need a job, forget  it. You would never enjoy being there.
