Community organizer is a euphemism for shakedown artist.  You bully  companies or individuals with threats of ongoing legal harrassment into doing what you want.  Then they end up  paying you to just go away and leave them alone.  Jesse Jackson has made it his career.

A comment I saw on a Dallas Morning New blog summed this up perfectly "GOP criticism of Obama's leadership organizing churches' charity work in south Chicago reveals the hypocrisy that is the GOP claim to care about average people."

Michael Landauer, the blogger said "I don't think it's right to attack someone for working in a faith-based charity out of college. I think we all have some embarrassing first-jobs in our past. I would not make fun of Palin for being a beauty queen and sports reporter out of college during these same years." EXACTLY!!!!

The speeches last night decided how I will cast my vote in November! I feel very strongly about volunteerism and they turned me off their party for good. As a registered independent who has voted for both Republicans and Democrats. I went into the conventions undecided and now that is certainly not the case!!!!!

I guess the speakers wanted to get some cheers off of thier Obama hating cohorts. Obviously, they don't care how it played out to the millions of viewers at home.

Turning Obama's charity work into something to be mocked and ridiculed is horrible behavior (the story - starting at age 23, Obama ran a faith-based charity called the Developing Communities Project).

It's exactly what the Republican's did last time with the swift boats folks. These tactics may fool some but I'm one independent who is going to change my party affiliation to Democrat. The past 8 years and the route this election is taking have been too much for me and I no longer want the Republican's to even think they have a shot at my vote!!!!

That's the comments last night I went to see what all the hub hub was about and the Developing Communities Project was made up of eight Catholic parishes when he got there and had one staff member. He was its director, meaning he was in charge. He made decisions about it, including staffing, budgets, etc I'd love to have this be the first entry on my resume!
