  1. Being a parent is pretty much what I thought it would be-- great! :)  My daughter will be 1 next week and she is so much fun.  She makes us laugh every day and we are so happy that she is part of our family.

The hardest part is how much I have to do each day, especially to get ready to go to work-- make her lunch for daycare, make my lunch, do laundry, make dinner, walk the dogs (mostly I just let them play in the yard-- I need to work on this!), not to mention playing with my sweet baby and taking care of her.

We are fortunate because we have a great day care provider who lives 350 yards away.  Her whole family loves our little girl and I feel very comfortable leaving her there.

  2. how many kids? 1 alive 1 dead

what are the hardships of being a parent?- losing a child is the hardest thing i ever went through.  Worrying about everythign you can't control/protect them from.

how old are your kids? my daughter is 6 months old now

    how old are you?- 34

what do you think about the daycare your kids are in?- noen yet.

Overall, being a parent is the best thing i ever did with my life and i have a deeper joy than i believed was possible - and a deeper love in my heart than i could have ever dreamed of.

  3. Being a parent is much harder than I ever thought it would be.  I am 30 and have one daughter who is 5 months old.  For the first few months she was colicky, she screamed because she was in pain, we ended up switching her formula to Similac Alimentum which by the way is extremely expensive.  Some of the hardships are now you have a lot more to worry about.  You want to protect your child and you can when they are small but when they get older, that is what I am most worried about (yes already) also the lack of sleep in the beginning.  And basically you are just not who you were before, you can't just run to the store real quick or do sporatic things, everything has to be planned esp. with an infant.  Everything is about the baby and it is hard to get time to yourself.

  4. I have 2 dogs that I am a proud parent of and they are my children and alot easier to take care of. No messy diapers. they are cetainly alot cheaper then kids. they have thier clothing year-round and will never outgrow it. I am 40

Honestly today I would rather have dogs then kids kids are exposed to to much in life.

  5. Is being a parent all you thought it would be- or is it harder than you thought it would be?  It's more Rewarding than I thought and Harder than I thought.  lol

why or why not? Because it's a lot of RESPONSIBILITY and PRESSURE.  I'm not trying to sound negative.. it's just the truth.

how many kids?- 3  (2 boys and 1 girl)

what are the hardships of being a parent?-  I think that's a book!  You really have to give it your all.  And then more!  Your children ARE your life.  You owe it to them to give them everything.  Did I mention pressure and responsibility.  Again I'm not being negative.  I definitely know how hard it can be.  And it's not for everyone.. uh hum.. my DAD!  Some people can't handle it and than they skip out on their precious babies.  Leaving a poor helpless soul NEEDING love, protection and all the necessities they look for in their parents.  One of my good friends is raising her 5 year old alone, because her husband decided he wasn't yet a grown-up.

how old are your kids?-  9, 6 and 5

    how old are you?- 31

what do you think about the daycare your kids are in?-  I stayed home with them.

Just like any stage in life.. you will always look back to the past and miss it.  Some parts of what your life was like anyway.  But at the same time  ...I can't imagine my life without these little guys!  They are my life.  It's hard.  But it's wonderful.

Oh and one more thing.  The Hardest part of all, is the WORRY.  That's what I miss most about being a single childless carefree person..  You don't understand the depths of Love nor the depths of Worry until you have a child.  Trust me.  I don't fear my own death... except in that I would be leaving these guys.  I fear so much that something will happen to them.

  6. i have 1 son, he is 4 years old, i am 23... I had him when i was 18

hardships of being a parent.. is u can very rarely get time to yourself anymore (im a single parent), like if u want a bath u have to take ur child with you, sleepless nights, tantrums in supermarkets, punishing ur children ... cuz u dont wanna upset them..

he goes to daycare full time (cuz i work full time), and its very good, he is always learning new things, saying new things and is very well behaved at nursery... and always very happy and tired when he comes home...
