  1. It can be the most healthy diet ever, but notice the words can be.  Meat is unhealthy on so many levels but there are worse things that a person can put in their body.  I am not a vegetarian, but I know all about living a vegetarian life.  I've been vegetarian for up to a year at a crack.  IF you go vegetarian do some research to find out how to do it correctly.  Variety is the key.  Think about nuts all of them, beans, berries, and everything from produce.  Then keep in mind that things like pizza (can be vegetarian), mac and cheese, most dairy, are vegetarian.  Vegetarian doesn't always mean healthy.

    It can.

  2. im not... but its up to what u believe is right and wrong...

  3. it  is not  good but I think for a women who rely on beauty it's bad, plus you gonna have to drink Iron pills bz women need a lot iron since we lose a lot blood and those protein is what makes our hair and nail beautifully

a vegetarian has to take extra supplement of vitamin. so it's veggies and pills....

    I don't think it's a good idea.........

  4. Its not whether its a good or bad idea its up to what you feel if you can eat meat knowing where it came from! Im a vegetarian and happy for my decision but it is up to you and if you want to be eating animals! You also have to think about getting the right nutrients if you do become veggie to get all the protein, carbs, vitamins & minerals so not a decision to be taken lightly! Hope this helps your decision :)

PS. here is a link to the Vegetarian Society website if you decide to go veggie and even if you dont there are still some delicious recipes you could try :D

  5. It's your choose.

  6. It's a great idea

  7. you wont have any deficiencies. you can get every single nutrient that you get from meat you just have to get in other foods, nuts, seeds fruit veg, go on to the peta website and they will give you all the info you need, i tried it for a year with no meat and no fish but have just gone back to eating fish as i found it quite hard to make imaginative nutritional meals every day, now eating fish again makes life a lot easier. check out the facts and decide for yourself, no one can choose for you. good luck whatever you do.

  8. It can be a little hard because:

Your body needs the two types of protein.  One that you get from plants and the other from an animal.  Vegetables cannot provide that other protein in which you need to survive.  I would recommend fish... or try becoming an insectivore.  You could still be considered a vegetarian if you want to just by eating a fish or a bug every now and then...

  9. Yea it is a good idea but depends on what you believe and definetly requires alot of willpower..Its upto you realli n what justifys your reason to become a veggie.Just make sure you do get sufficient protein though..Apart from that your good.Just do what you think is right

  10. Its a good idea.

    you'll live a cruelty-free life.

    you'll live longer

    have more energy

    be healthier

And just think the taste of meat itself is not that good.

what its flavored with is what tastes good.

and meat rots in your stomach. how gross.

  11. it certainly is healthy but your missing out on your protein but i guess eating meats and alternatives would be a good solution for you if you want to become a vegatarian.Theres nothing wrong with that.

  12. i dont know that its good or bad, but i do know that you have to be careful. you still need protien and since your not eating meat it can be harder for you to get that protien. so just be careful with that.

  13. Awww, Bless

It Depends in What you Feel.

as Long as you like Veggie Meals.

I thik it's great to NOT eat animals.

Buut, Vegitarian burgers and sausages are Gleaming ;]

  14. it is a GREAT idea in my eyes. i've been a vegetarian for about a year, almost vegan. Its a little hard at first but once you get the hang of it, it one of the easiest things I've ever done. Also you can eat, guilt free. and you can just feel so much better about your self. There are so many options these days, that i can assure you that you wont miss the animal products. I don't support the cruel treatment of animals which was the major reason i went veg. The second was because i wanted to be healthier. I feel so much more energetic and overall much healthier after i went vegetarian.

You can always take a supplement to assure that you get the right vitamins.

If you do this the right way then there should be no problem with going veg.

Before i made the commitment, I did a lot of research and talked to qualified and knowledgeable people

    Good Luck With Your Decision!

  15. i think it's a great idea, but that's me. i love animals and i think they deserve the worldd. i guess im not a full on vegetarian cause i just recently(like one week ago) went back to just eating chicken. i wasnt getting enough protein, and i hate nuts and my parents dont let me take vitamins(im 13 :/) but i lost a lot of weight and it's really healthy.

  16. It is a great idea. It's has numerous health benefits and you feel great knowing that you're helping the animals. Just be sure to get enough protein and iron.

  17. okay, so if you eat turkey slices, you are NOT a vegetarian.

haha. i dont know where someone got that idea.

anyways, if it is what you believe in go for it.

not only is it good for you, its good for the animals.

now a days, unless you are buying organic meat eggs and dairy products, your food is being filled with harmful hormones and fillers.

and when it comes to staying healthy as a vegetarian, there are many other meat substitutes and ways to get the essential vitamins and minerals you need.

    boca burgers are excellent. :]

try hitting up your local health food store or whole foods.

they will have plenty of vitamins and meat substitutes and organic veggies and fruits to help you along your way.

if this is what you want to do, dont let anyone discourage you.

its an extremely wise and healthful decision.

also try eating at a local indian restaurant.

many people in that culture are vegetarians, so eating there would most likely suit your needs.

    try the peas paneer. :]

  18. Yes.  It's a healthy lifestyle and you won't feel guilty about what you eat.  Just make sure you get all your vitamins.

  19. Humans were made to be vegetarians.  It is the healthiest way to live.  Fish and seafood is ok because their muscle and organ structures are so different from our bodies and actually mimic some plants.  Meats are almost exactly like our body makeup so you shouldnt eat meat.  Cows who get mad cow disease a brain protein disorder pass that onto humans because the species are practically the same.  Cannibals in tribes who eat their dead often die and get sick with the same diseases of the person of which they ate.  For those who eat dairy it is also the same thing.  Milk and dairy contains a BOVINE GROWTH HORMONE which if your smart would know that humans arent bovines at all and the hormone is actually harmful.  Babies are able to digest the milk sugar lactose for only a short time because the body produces the enzyme for it in infancy, but as we mature we are unable to digest it.

Vegetarianism is the only way to ensure that you are actually getting proper nutrition.  Super proteins from nuts and seeds and from deep green plants IS FAR SUPERIOR FAR SUPERIOR to ANY ANY ANY meat product in the world.  Vegetables and Fruits contain more vitamins than any meat products COMBINED.

And because fruits/plant cells are very different from our cellular structures diseases dont jump species.  Humans are not made to eat Land FLESH we are not cannibals.  First humans didnt cook and only ate raw materials.  So plants and seeds were the only things they ate.  Fish was always eaten raw, hence why people still eat sushi.  Humans who would eat raw animals would become terribly sick and at great risks to personal health.

    SO ITS A GOOD IDEA.

  20. I think you should be a vegetarian if you have strong beliefs that eating animals is wrong, if you need to ask others opinions i don't think it's for you.

  21. As long as you get all your correct nutrients from all the different food groups than go ahead!! You might need to take supplements too.

  22. Yes.  It is much better for your body and the things you'll find yourself eating in place of meat and things with meat in them is very good for you.  try to eat organic things.

  23. I think it's fine but you'll be lacking certain vitamins that you can only get from animal products. If anything just have turkey slices once a week or two so you don't get sick. I knew a girl like that and she always in and out of the doctors because her body was just fragile from eating only vegetables. There's a reason we are arbivores.

  24. Eating a healthy diet is a good idea. If you do this by being a vegetarian diet, then good for you!

1.) You are helping the environment by being a vegetarian.

    2.) It is cheaper, typically.

3.) There are many health benefits.

There are other ways to save the world, eat cheaper, and be healtier without restraining from meat. This is just one option. I personally like it, but I was never a huge meat to begin with.

  25. Depends on why you're doing it. If you truly believe in not consuming animals because of the cruelty and to conserve their rights, then it's a great idea, but if you're just doing it because you think it's cool or fun or whatever, then it's a bad idea and you'll never stick to it.

  26. Very good idea.

There is nothing in meat that you cannot get in other foods, all without vitamins. Just do you homework and make sure you are getting everything you need.

  27. it is 50 50 because you can avoid the bacteria and other problems that come with meat and bad because you loose out on the goodness and the protein
