Is being an Advertising Exec for a local brodcast station a good job?

40K draw, with provided leads local territory, poor economy may lead businesses to cut ad costs and I in turn would suffer. Looking for another career what are your opinions?

It is a hard, hard job, but if you are good in sales, it can be very lucrative. The best people for this job are great shmoozers with a head for numbers and an understanding of marketing strategy.
