Is being an enviroment engineer hard?

No. In fact, the only easier way to be called an "engineer" is to be a train driver!

No. Not at all.  Infact it will be more adventurous and more fascinating than any other branch of engineering profession either in core subjects or in IT and computer where you always have a pressure and stress. Being an environment engineer you can enjoy the job and contribute a lot to society since in the days to come the globe expects more from you only.  The statistical facts and the initial survey and travel based activities and much non popular modes of operandi only makes you feel it is hard.  But it is there in every field and once you start loving your profession and get involved into it that your contribution is significant and you can get satisfaction which is more rewarding than anything else.
