Is it more fatal to be shot in the heart than in the head to ensure death ?How long does a person suffer after being shot in the heart ?

  1. Yea, if the heart has a leak, eventually you die.

Your brain can still function if only a small portion of it is damaged.

  2. Shooting oneself anywhere can be fatal depending upon what the bullet actually strikes after piercing the skin. A bullet to the head will most likely be fatal, however, if the bullet fails to sever any of the numerous, critical veins, arteries, nerves contained within the cranium, it could be survivable with variant results from complete paralysis to almost nothing. Similarly, a direct shot to the heart will most likely also be fatal as piercing the heart muscle will cause the heart to not pump effectively and will lead to a catastrophic loss of blood. Piercing the aorta will, of course, result in almost instant death.

Regardless, the best way to survive a gunshot wound is not to incur one. And the best way to do that is to stay away from guns or at least educate oneself so that accidental injury doesn't occur.

  3. no

  4. First there is no .22 mm gun.   There is a .22 caliber gun, however.    If the heart is damaged you would generally die, but you might survive with a head injury, as some others have said.   You must have blood circulation to live, but can survive with a certain amount of brain damage.

  5. To be honest you would have to ask someone who had survived it. Ask a doctor.

  6. no,being shot in the heart is deadly, being shot in the head, when exactly kill you,but might as well be dead, you can live, though.
