  1. It will probably be cold and wet.

There is no more boring place than any summer resort out of season.

  2. is good for EXECUTE

  3. Amserdam is better.

  4. Most of the hotels will be booked full of the over 60's by now, most places will be closed over the break as well, Old town is fine if you;re happy in g*y bars, lots of those and g*y hotels in abundance, so there's alwasy a lot of fun there, new part is full of pensioners. I live an hour away and I wouldnt bother, but it all depends on taste and preferences, and its not as warm as many think, its only about 18 in the sun today

  5. Please answer the question yourself..... Would you go to Blackpool for Xmas if the weather was slightly better?

It won't be hot, but a little drier & sunnier.

The Canaries are warmer this time of year.

  6. Benidorm any good over Christmas ? depends whether you`re sober enough to notice .............lol

  7. The Costa Blanca isn't it associated with the dubious pleasures of mass tourism so typical of the early years of the Spanish holiday boom? All those dreadful high-rise hotel blocks in Benidorm, the all-day breakfast cafés and the beaches where sun-worshippers lie packed together on the sand like sardines in a tin? Yes, they are still there. But, for the past few years, holidaymaker's and tour operators have been focusing their attention elsewhere, away from the seaside promenades and the plavas on the Costa Blanca. see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/costa_b...

  8. The weather is fair in Spain at the moment, at least on the Costa del Sol where I live, so assuming it stays this way then it should be very pleasant in Benidorm.

There should be plenty of lively entertainment for you as many people over winter there and the hotels etc. are kept quite busy.

Alternatively look at the Costa del Sol as it is a fair bit further south and usually gets the best of the winter weather:-

  9. have been to old town  benidorm and new  town benidorm over xmas and new year, the hotels put on lots of entertainment or they use to, weather can be very good but chilly evenings, but guess theres no gurantees what with the changing climates world wide

  10. You will find some decent entertainment at night but the weather will be very mild. Most hotels do not have heated pools so you won't be able to use the swimming pool in most cases as it will be too cold.

Head for the canary islands for decent weather, ie Tenerife, Lanzarote, more expensive but worth it I think.
