Is best buy the cheapest for home theatre installation?

No, not the cheapest, but they have a good selection at the mid range to maybe high end stuff.  If you want cheap go to walmart or discount stores.  It may also be cheaper to order from the internet, if you get shipping included.

they don't do it they contract out. so a hefty profit margin is added. go to a reputable installer, not a big box store.

Best buy DOES NOT contract out.  But they are also not the cheapest.  If they were a restaurant,  they would be like a McDonald's of home theater installs.
