Big Brown can do it. He is a superhorse, and his jockey has been riding him in a style that's been saving and training him for the Belmont perfectly. This is the most convincing Triple Crown contender in a long time.

I can't believe what some people are saying about Casino Drive. The Japanese brought casino Drive over only to win? I agree with the horse's connections that Casino Drive deserves a chance because of his Belmont winning siblings and some capability on the track. But he hardly compares to those siblings and has done nothing yet to prove he can beat a horse like Big Brown.

Big Brown almost broke a track record in the Florida Derby, easily won the Kentucky Derby from an impossible post, and casually drew away from his Preakness foes without breaking a sweat. Casino Drive is a winner against maidens and a weak stakes field, getting the easiest of trips. Does anyone really think that's all the conditioning and proof you need to beat Big Brown?

No, they aren't bringing Casino Drive over just because their crystal ball says he will win. Even they aren't saying they know he will win. His relationship to the past two winners has earned him this chance to prove he can do it too. Doesn't mean he will, and they know that. They know that if he finishes second or third, the consolation prize is good too. Not only do they get second money, but any good Belmont Stakes finish will help increase this horse's stud fee. They're not going to refuse the money and keep it a shameful family secret if Casino Drive finishes second or third. Do you think the mediocre Great Hunter was sent to Dubai to beat Curlin in the World Cup, or because that race paid generously down to sixth place? Look how many horses are running for second in the Belmont, like they did in the Preakness. Everybody knows Big Brown is superior.

If BB has no more physical problems, hes about as close to a lock as you can get. I dont think 'Drive" is going to beat him, but I sure hope SOME horse makes the big boy run-I want to see what kind of time he can post for the Belmont.

Im also hoping for a dry track that day.

think about this logically for a second! if you owned a horse would you send him half way around the world just to run second? i dont think you would! and neither would the j**s! casino drive is there to win this race, he has been set for this race, he is the fresher horse, he's had a win on the belmont track already, all the signs point to him giving big brown a whipping! some people have been caught up in the emotion of having a triple crown winner, as it doesn't happen very often!

A small part of me believes that Big Brown will win the Triple Crown.  Casino Drive could do it too though. He will be fresh and he already has a victory at Belmont.  I think that Macho Again will be close to the front.
