Is billiard part of olympics now?

I am just wondering if billiards part of Olympics, if so that will be the chance for the philippines to make a gold.

  4. Billiards of any kind is not a part of the Olympic Games as of this writing. I do know that there is an effort by some amateur pool organizations to have billiards become a part of the games but their efforts have not been embraced by the Olympic Committee.

  5. just a little tidbit  http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.ht... click on view full article. notice the date it was written at the bottom lol 1920, so they must have been trying since then to get billiards into the olympics, the way i read it? i thought i heard efren won a gold metal at some games a few years back, anyone have any clue what it could have been? im not putting down table tennis, or archery, but if there in the olympics, i see no reason pool/snooker/billiards is not? who knows.

    They even have a game called Olympic 9 ball-But the same game with Standard rules ??
