  1. Well if you like sales then I would say it is worth it. But personally I would rather pay full price then spend two hours trying to find a parking spot and wasting gas that is getting outrageous.

  2. for the most part, yes, it is... I've worked retail for yrs and at many diff rent places and we always set of sales that Wed. or even earlier in the week and they would even last into the fallowing week due to the amount of people retuning/exchanging items... they try and minimize there loses... go out today and see what you find... you'd be better off

  3. this site shows the best deals on black friday

  4. The predictions for retail is looking fairly bleak.

Stores will, and are already, offering great prices hoping that that will increase sales.

Personally, I think that this is definitely the year to buy gift cards, because price/value will be greater after the holiday season.

I'm sticking to small gifts that can be unwrapped, but the mainstay of my giving is definitely going to be gift cards, and they can be purchased at anytime.

And no, you won't find me in the long, that-kid-needs-a-nap, will-this-line-ever-move-ahead rat race called Black Friday, especially after a full day of cooking, eating and not enough sleep to be even cordial to others in the same position.  I'll stay home and digest my dinner from yesterday, thank you very much!

  5. I think it's a personal choice, I for one work in retail but before I did I loved shopping these two days, it put me in the mood for the Holidays.  Long lines, rude people and crowdedness has been going on for years and you do have to watch out for the scams.  The only thing I worry about is people (shoppers and workers) going out at 4:00 a.m. with robbers and muggers getting ready for the holiday as well.  Be safe!!
