Is black hair really black?

i mean.....i found similar question to this one and they say that there's really black and some say that it's actually very dark brown and all that.......

okay okay.......which is more common......really-black-hair or very-dark-brown-almost black-hair?

and is it true that if it's really black, when light is reflected on the hair....the shine will be a bit blue?

Very dark brown. And I think it sometimes could be blue.
