our thermostat has a drain pipe under it so the condinsationed water from the thermostate will be drain out of the house.

but its clogged bad. that it takes two days to drain a small cerial bowl. i have been using bleach that was used for clothes. yet i doupt that its sinking into the pipe but dissolving away to useless vapor. we live in a city suburb so it should drian into the sewage(hopefully)

were currentlyu using a bucket to take the water out to keep our garage from flooding. if you have better ideas to unclogg the pipes besides metal snakes please tell me

  1. first, I think you mean your air conditioner, instead of thermostat, that is creating condensate water. second bleach will not dissolve any blockage in the drain pipe.  first try blasting the blockage out with the pressure of a water hose, it may make a little mess but it can be cleaned up. use caution protect your eyes, because you now have bleach in the pipe. hopefully that will unclog it..
