  1. If you're really tough.

  2. boxing is the most aerobic and intense workout that there is. You will be exhausted, but its fun.

  3. Do Boxing

  4. yes

  5. Boxing in itself is a great sport, but it is not the actual boxing that will do you any good. the conditioning FOR boxing is where all your benefit's will come from (and you have to put in VERY hard work to reap these benefit's, i know) as you probably know the training is great for Cardio, strengh, coordination, timing and one thing sometime's overlooked is great concentration, another bonus is your self esteem will will really take off (as long as your not the Bully type, lol)i would like to get one thing across to you and that is to MAKE the Medicine Ball your best friend because using it properly is going to work EVERY and i mean EVERY muscle in your body (any GOOD trainer know's this, if he doesn't get RID of him,he's not a good trainer)i hope and i have seen this happen with a few guy's that you are not figuring well okay i'll have a bout once a month and that should do it,doesn't work that way and you'll become a punching bag for the guy's that are willing to put in the time not so much in boxing itself but in their conditioning. so i would say the way you worded the question that NO boxing is NOT a great excercise, BUT the conditioning to get TO boxing can't be beat. Good Luck to You.

  6. Boxing is a fun way to exercise especially sparring. You get exhausted, sweaty and exhilarated afterwards. Plus it helps develop your stamina, self-defense, hand-eye coordination and power.

I love the sport and the one-on-one hand combat.

  7. Yes, by all means it is the best.  Boxing allows you to conduct an immense amount of cardio, while still working on your strength, coordination, agility, and overall athletic ability.

  8. both are great. if you do kick boxing I strongly suggest you do not join a cardio kick boxing class. most of those won't teach you anything about self defense. I strongly recommend joining a real boxing or kick boxing gym even if you don't want to spar or compete that way you don't pick up any bad habits. tae bo for example is exercise kick boxing which is good exercise but won't teach you how to fight and in fact could be detrimental if god forbid you had to use it as a self defense situation. as to which one you chose is up to you. both are great exercise and you will be in the best shape of your life when you do it right.
