I've started boxing for awhile now. I wanna' know if this builds muscles in your arms, neck, face and shoulders. I do this for about 30 minutes a day.

  1. h**l yeah! it uses your arms and some muscles in your neck alot.

  2. It is both anerobic and static. If you are strictly concerned with building strength then you will need to do something else.

  3. This shouldn't even be a question. If you started boxing you should know that it's a full body work out. Most of the core muscles in your body get worked. When you box, you use your legs, abs, and arms. Neck muscles can only be built if you do strengthening exercises though, which usually is including in a training regime. I don't know why you would want face muscles though. The only thing face muscles would do for you would be making you able to make funny faces. That's it. Anyways, boxing is a full body work out and one of the best ways to get in shape. Blah! :)

  4. also increases ur stamina

  5. Yes it is a strength and stamina work out it will increase how many hits you can take to the face to which also increases your muscles in your face. It's an overall good cardio work out keep it up.

  6. You build your cardio and the strength will be there. Its not like lifting weights, I know weightlifters that can bench 350lbs. but in the real world like doing farm work or picking up something awkward their not as strong as people I know that can only bench 200lbs. Cardio is what its all about.

  7. when u box u actually burn ur muscles! all that cardio and weights
