  1. You can get really hurt in fighting, but....You can't get more hurt in Working out side, crossing the street, working under your car, etc.....People think that boxing / Fighting is the BEST way to get hurt.  But NO it's not, I work in Construction and I'm more worried about cutting my finger or arm off then I am getting punched out in the Ring.

What I'm trying to get at is that Boxing is a Way of life you, take the good and bad and make the best out of it.  Just like everything ells you do, working outside.  You can get hurt, but its someing that you MUST do.  Thats how us fighters feel, it's a way of life and we MUST do it. :)

Have a good day, good question.

  2. Yes of course, its a sport where the object is to knock your opponent out, basicly hit and not get hit.

The WBC has put an insurance plan for there boxers with there commission only problem is they dont insure boxing injury's. Its so dumb.

But if he's in the amaturs then in not that big of a deal, they were head gear and its more about points then damage

But is hes in the pros then you have something to worry about.

  3. no

  4. ye he can get gurt, but no its not dangerous. if your boyfriend has won all 19 he sounds like a pro. itd be hard for ameateurs to win all 19. dont worry about him, he'll be fine. ive been hit so hard it wasnt funny.

i was sparring a 16 year old and im 13 and he connected about 4 punches on me and i didnt go down, no one can knock me down and im sure your boyfriends just liek that. its a mans nature to beat the c**p out of others.

  5. It is safer now no more 15 rounds fights and fights are usually  stooped before to much damage to the fighters happens

  6. Im a carpenter, I walk over 50 ft in the air from tiny little plank to plank, with no safety net, no harness

I climb across roofs with over a 45 degree pitch in snow and ice,

all for about 35,000 dollars a year,

Boxers can make millions a fight, so if he's good, just be thankful he's not a tradesman

so in relativity, no boxing is not dangerous

  7. what do you think? some people have gotten punch-drunk, which means that if you get to many shots to the head, you could lose a lot of you memory

  8. id think about the brain cells he looses by getting punched in the head. alot of boxers retire with brain damage

  9. It is much safer than it used to be with all the new rules and regs. Of coarse there is some danger even if he's won all 19. He should be just fine. Try not to worry too much.
