Is boxing teams ok in high school.?

depends how old. I think yes but if one is going through puberty then too heavy weight training will stunt growth, also think about those brain cells, I'd wear that helmet gear, especially since you're rookies

it can't happen in schools. schools don't have the insurance to cover it and could not afford to hire boxing trainer as a full time teacher and any reputable trainer is going to already be training boxers and wouldn't be able to teach at a school anyway. plus with all the violence that has been happening in schools it would never be aloud. I'm not saying that boxing would make that worse in fact I think it would teach discipline and respect and help the schools but the people with the decision making power wouldn't let boxing into high schools. Truthfully though if you want to learn how to box you don't need it in school there are boxing gyms with great trainers out there. search around your area and you will find something much better than some mediocre gym coach trying to teach a sport he never did.
