Yes.  This is especially true because 32 band size fits on very petite females.  When considering bra size, it is important to also consider proportion.  Relative to a 32 band size, a D cup is very large.  I myself am a very full 32D and am a size 0 or 24 (pants size)while most girls my size are B cups.
