Brazil is my favourite country in the world , I have returned there seven times .It's one of the most beautiful countries in the World

Why : The Brazilians are extremely friendly , and I have been on long bus rides and complete strangers have insisted in paying my drinks.

Their music is great:

Brazil has a very rich music tradition. The Brazilian music originates from mixing the styles of European colonists with the styles of African slaves and -to a lesser degree- the styles of the Amerindians.

Samba is the Brazilian style of music that everybody knows. It is famous throughout the world. Bossa Nova is well-known among jazz enthusiasts. Nevertheless, the Brazilian music does not get the international attention to which it is entitled. Who learns more about Brazilian music, discovers a new world of sounds, styles and rhythms varying from classical music to hiphop-like styles.

Famous Brazilian styles of music are:

Axé

Bossa Nova

Capoeira music

Choro

Música Popular Brasileira or MPB

Pagode

Samba

Tropicália

Food in Brazil is excellent and Cheap.

The potions are large .

The food is different in the various regions of Brazil>

It a fusion of my many styles.

The Brazilians blended ingredients and recipes from various continents long before Europeans and North-Americans spoke about fusion kitchen

It's a mixture of European, and African and Japanese.

In cities the kilos restaurant where the restaurants serve a buffet style food and you pay by the weight .This has replaced the American fast food places.

In the North you have the Amazon , which is the world's greatest rainforest.

Brazil has so many great beaches , they are too many to list.

Also you have many cities that are protected by UNESCO, because of the beautiful historical buildings :

Salvador, Paraty, Olinda, Sao Luis and the gold cities in Minas Gerais

Also Brazil has the greatest football team (soccer team) in the world.

Brazil has some of greatest Artists in the World and

cities like Rio and Salvador are fanastic to visit and enjoy

When I was 17, I was given the choice of a new car, or a second trip to Brazil (I had gone for my 16th B day) I went to Brazil again! It's simply AMAZING. There are NO words to describe it. Definitely go!

Like most countries you might visit, it has its places of beauty and its places of not-so-much beauty.  That being said, my experience in Brazil was amazing.  

Standing on Corcovado overlooking Rio and Guanabara Bay is one of the most stunning sights you might see.  The Falls at Iguacu could be the most beautiful place on earth (if you like that kind of green, watery scenery that is there).  Many of the beaches are without comparison.  Many of the cities and towns are charming and interesting, mixing colonial and modern architecture.  The Amazon is something to behold.

And these are just a very few of the beauties of Brazil.  

If you can, go.  It would be well worth it.

I think so.  I've only visited the Sao Paulo area, which while a fun place to be, probably doesn't qualify as beautiful.

If you go to Brazil don't go to places most known as São Paulo and Rio.Go to the interior of Brazil like the state of Minas Gerais

and visit the historic cites and go to Belo Horizonte that isn't as violent

as Rio and São Paulo but is a great city with 2,4 millions people.

I used to live in Sao Paulo City. It's like New York City.

Lots of business buildings , businessmen, business going on

and people talking on their cell phone and eating at the same time and doing business. Amazing how busy people are.

But if I just got out of Sao Paulo, people would be on their motorcycles, or bars, or talking to their friends, or their neighbors at their front house.

In Rio de Janeiro people would be right on the beach playing soccer, volleyball, basketball, or they would be laying on the beach on the small bikinis. It doesn't matter how old or heavy

people are they are the ones who should know what kind of bikinis they should wear. The black guys are accepted anywhere as long as they act nice and friendly to the white ones and to the black ones too. Even the white ones, if they make something wrong they are taken out of the beach... when I say something wrong means when they commit a crime, they go to jail.

It is beautiful. The best thing about Brazil is that it is so big that you can find whatever you want there. If you like beaches, they have some of the most beautiful in the world. Big cities, small villages, rivers (I have heard tours near the Amazon are great). Pretty much anything you want is there.

Rio de Janeiro is where you should go...It's sooooo beautiful and there's some very poor people there too..which can make you feel sad...but in General if you play it safe it's a must see place.

I wish that I could go there again...it irks me that some people can go there anytime they want...as soon as they snap their fingers daddy's there to pay for the trip!
