there is a fine line between opinion and racism-the interpretation of which of the two it is -is very subjective and influenced by the political climate of the time-to me her statements seem like opinions-which is not to say that i agree or disagree as know little of situation in France

5 million Muslims in France, she has a point. And the most telling is that being someone who cares about animals, she doesn't like the way they are killed, in the way of Islam.

She got fined, but i bet you a pound to a penny that many French are silently saying the same.

She is only telling things from her own point of view, which is slightly racist. She has made comments in the past that have gotten her into trouble so she should have learnt her lesson & kept her mouth shut. We all know someone with these kind of thoughts but the difference here is that she is a public figure so her comments may be heeded more by some sections of the public.

yes definitely..she is only saying out loud what a lot of us would like to say...freedom of speech for some by the looks of things

She has always been very passionate about her beliefs, especially on animal welfare and I don't think she is a racist, just concerned about the right to be French in France.
