he defently was and still is no one could defeat him when he was alive and even today no one could some people say he is an actor but that was something bruce lee did to become noticed in the MA world he really was the best fighter who else today can do one handed pushups on 2 fingers and side kick a 135k kickbag and make it swing up and hit the roof and who else has such a steel hard physique 14 pack stone hard abs obliques biceps everything bruce lee is the best fighter in the world. also in his movies he was sooo fast he had to slow down his movements and the footage becas the camera would blur from his speed thats funny becas normally martial art films are sped up.

As far as I know, Bruce Lee was not a fighter, he was an actor with martial arts training.

Bruce Lee was the founder of Jeet Kune Do.

There are a lot of great martial artists.

But very few that would found and discover their own styles and make it into a new style.

However, I still think that he is only "one of" the best, but not the ultimate fighter, only because there are a lot of great martial artist that aren't famous or known by the western culture.
