Is bruce that good?

i was reading something on yahoo that said jay bruce has been traded one for one with guys like papelbon and hanley ramirez. even in a keeper leaugue with how young hanley and pap. are

He still needs to develop- most people who are doing that, are desperate because of their place in the standings, so not yet....

Its true that its happening but he is not that good yet. He will be, but not yet. He might have the kind of year that Ryan Braun had last year though.

No he's not good enough to trade for hanley straight up.  Yet he is really really good.  He will almost definetly be a top 25 fantasy option the rest of the year and could do even better.  The Reds aren't that bad and playing in that park is he going to put up good numbers.  He is definetly good enough to get rid of a pitcher for though.  They say he will put up Ryan Braun like numbers and I have seen him play and he just looks like he has a clue up there.

well, in keeper leagues, it is a smart move. hanley and papelbon are young, but bruce, playing as well as he is, still has room to improve even more.   But one year leagues...its the stupidest thing  ever.
